LurkingJayhawks Benchmarks on 5690

Yes I know this is not the Sager forum, but I am posting at the request of some of the people over here, not intend maliciously.

Here are the marks I got off a reformat/OS reinstall, with all standard settings and drivers. No tweaking done. I'm happy. These blow out the marks I got on the XPS I had for a short time. I did all 3 Back to back to back. The fans stayed at a low idle for the whole time, the bottom really didn't get hot at all. The left side exhaust was noticably warm, but by no means hot.

I will not OC the card with this performance, plus from the coments Adam made, it is clocked just right base on his testing, so no, I will not OC.

So far so good, the only down sides I found is the screen hinge is a little tight, which I knew was a problem going into the purchase with the little cracks people are getting, but I plan on loosening the hinge after I get all set up. Plus it's covered under warranty. The only other is that the card reader assign 4 drive letter, one for each slot. Seems fairly quite, no dead pixels, screen is fantastic. Its been on for about 9 hours now and the palm rest has just started to get slightly warm, not much. The bottom is cool. My wife picked me up an antec, so I'll have that on it I a couple hours. Battery life sucks, but I knew that going into it, about an hour, you can run 2 batteries at once, but I don't plan on it. I link a full review when I do one. I can't figure out the 500 point increase on the 5690 over the benchmark on the XPS. But I wont complain, same specs. I think sager clocks the 9700 a little higher maybe, but not 500 pts higher.
