I'm trying to buy a laptop for my new school year.
what I'm planing is, actually go to Buffalo and buy laptop and come back to Canada.
I'm really worrying about the TAX that US-CANADA border might charge me.
If they caught me, then what will be happen if I lie to them? ("I bought this in Canada, but I just brought it with me in USA")
are they going to believe it...????
and Please tell me what % of the laptop will be the tax (13%??)
also, if somebody experienced this, then please give me some advise.
oh, and I'll just bring a old laptop bag(it looks really old) and put the new laptop in there and maybe put the bag under the car seat. Is it might work...?
