Hey everybody! So here's my deal, my fx3600m came in the mail. It's heatsinks got bent but apparently there's insurance so Im going to the post office. Anything I should know before hand?

Also, in case I get tired of trying to mod, anyone know of any laptops that have this kind of config? At minimum a class 1 gpu as dictated by this site

The CPU should also be upgradeable, or if not, at least pretty damn good already to support new games (preferably core i5 / i7 at 2.66 or higher.)

Also 1900x1200 would be nice, I'd settle for 1920x1080 though. Preferably LED.

Hard drive space doesn't matter, only data speed. so preferably a 7200rpm one. No need for ssd yet for me.

Lastly, I'd kinda like a subwoofer in the laptop. I've had my e1705 with one for a while....and I gotta say I really like it.

SO if anyone can find me that for 2500 or less with some kind of 2-3 year warranty, I'd be impressed.



Last of all well, if this mod doesn't work....anyone want to buy a m1710 with a fx3600m in it? Or just the video card? No guarantees on the cooler, I'll be testing it soon enough.

there are cheaper brand names but AW is very well built

if you call the order in, and talk to a sales rep you should be able to get at least 10% off.

Find a coupon you can get more
