Putting Laptop onto my TV

I've been trying to get my laptop onto my TV to watch movies and although i get the screen on it is in black and white, what is the best way to do it? I only have the standard RCA (Red and White audio and Yellow video plugs) sockets and scart on the television. On the laptop i have s-video, 3.5 jackplug for audio and VGA for monitor.

I have tried everything I know but am at a loss now, any advice would be much appreicated, thanks !!

You should be able to use an S-Video to Scart cable/adaptor. But be careful, not all S-Video to Scart cable are the same and can transmit colors.
