Hi all
Does anybody know where i can get a "new uk keyboard" for my vaio pcg-9y2m.

also does the motherboard have a different serial no to the model no.

The motherboard part/serial number will be different to the model part/serial number. I am not sure about the keyboard, try contacting Sony?

I have found more info about the Sony Vaio laptop. It's a SONY VAIO VGN-BX61MN. I think this is the keyboard part number: 141780711 KEYBOARD UK LAYOUT

PLEASE CAN someone confirm if the part number is correct. I have tried Sony and 2 UK Sony dealers and all i can say is they are a bunck of w~~~##s. sony will only supply a keyboard at a ridiculous price and as for the 2 uk dealers they don't have keyboards so are not interested to help and supply the part number. VERY SHOCKING way to treat a customer. very true rip off Briton.

I have contacted a reputable company in Hong Kong and I MUST SAY I have been treated exceptionally well and courteous by them. All i need is the part number for the above keyboard.
