I have an Acer Extensa 4420-5910 AMD Turion 64 X2, ATI radeon graphics X1250. Installed windows 7 ultimate and everytime I close the laptop, or it is left unattended with the display open I get white horizontal lines across the display. I called Acer and they told me my warranty expired on February 9, 2010 and would say no more. I also get an error about the Catalyst Control Host not working. We have downloaded the latest version; error message still appears and I still get the white horizontal lines across the display. I posted this problem to the windows bbs and they suggested I post here. Please advise. Thank you.
