Change key functions in U30JC

Hi, I was wondering if there was any way I could change the PgUp/PgDn buttons on the side of my laptop into VolumeUp/VolumeDown buttons since I never use them. I really don't like having to press the Fn+F11/F12 to change the volume since it is a combination and the two buttons are really far apart. I can't find what I want in the control panel... Also is there any way I can move the volume and brightness indicators that show up on my screen whenever I change settings using the keypad to the side, since they can be pretty disruptive when I'm watching something?

You might need some 3rd (free) party utilities like ActiveKeys or Sound Volume Hot Keys to map the Page Up / Page Down keys.

Not sure about the other part.
