External Monitors on Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q890

Thread Starter
I'm planning on buying a Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q890 TruBrite 18.4-Inch Laptop to replace my current desktop computer. I want it for the portablity, but it's mainly going to stay on my desk. With that in mind, I would like to run dual monitors but it looks like it only has a single VGA output.

Will it be possible to run two monitors or should I go back to a desktop computer and forego buying this laptop?

Thanks in advance,
Jeff

Doesn't this model also carry an HDMI port? You can use it to run dual monitor as well. So you actually have 2 ports to choose from VGA and HDMI

It's got an HDMI port, but I don't have an HDMI cable for my monitor. My monitors came with two cables, one DVI and and the other VGA. It looks like the laptop comes with a VGA output, but I need another VGA or a DVI. Not sure how the HDMI will help.

Thanks.

What do you mean you need another VGA cable? Does your monitor support VGA input? What is the monitor model?
