I wanted to upgrade my battery from a 6 cell to a 12 cell. Found one on Ebay with a compatible part number. When I tried to use the new battery I got an incorrect battery error and the machine shut off. I contacted the seller and was able to return it. He said the NV5378U uses a special digital battery and the one I ordered would not work and he did not have one for my laptop. Has anyone found a battery upgrade for this model that will work. The Gateway website is no help and there are many battery part numbers listed on various websites. The standard 6 cell just doesn't last long enough. Any help would be appreciated.
