Acer eMachine M2352 driver help plz?

A couple weeks ago the wifi on my laptop stopped working as well as the sound. I did a clean install of windows and now both ethernet and wifi wont work.

I believe the drivers need to be updated/installed. Can anyone please walk me through how to install the drivers I need? I will be installing from a flash driver.

Thanks

emachine m2352 with Windows XP

Just go to ACER support site and download all the drivers for your model, then just run them once you have them on the drive/disk.

Hmm is it not made by Acer? I didnt see it listed under notebooks on the driver site.

I downloaded them all from the emachines website. However some come with no .inf file and no setup/installer .exe.
The LAN driver came with only a .exe which appears to install it but after a reboot nothing is different, and internet still wont work.

The touchpad is the only one that has installed and worked so far.

no, M2352 was made long before Acer bought Gateway/eMachines. eMachines site should have them, might want to also try the Gateway website

Dont know if I should mention this, but download and install only those applicable to whatever operating system you are using...ie. dont download and install Win7 drivers (if there are any) on an XP machine or vice versa

Could not see them at eMachines or Gateway.

Here are the links from my archive (chipset, wlan, media card ...), should be good for 24 hours, XP.

Thanks.

How do I install the modem? When I click HXFSetup it shows an hour glass and then nothing happens.

I got the wifi working by following this guide. http://downloads.emachines.com/drive...adme_em_us.txt

wish i could find instructions for the modem and video controller.

Use manual installation of drivers - click on the device in question, choose update driver, then point it to the location of the files.
