Acer Travelmate 8371G

Hi folks,

I recently picked up this laptop and cannot for the life of me find where the 3G sim slot is.

I've looked through the user guide, quick start guide, and specifications guide and whilst there is mention of this feature, it doesn't actually tell you where it is.

I have a suspicion it's under the battery.

I see a bit of film covering a section under the battery but I have yet to cut it off/remove it.

It is usually under the battery. Does your comp come with the 3G option activated?

Are you absolutely sure that your model came with it...not all 8371s have it

Ahh just double checked, seems that I have the 8371, instead of the 8371G, vendor wrote it wrong on the invoice.

Would you also happen to know how to access the recovery partition on this model?

Did you want to do a full recovery...if so try alt F10

Suggest making a set of recovery disks too...you will only need them when you dont have them..

In your program files, there should be a utility under Acer called "E Recovery ????"
