In response to my earlier post: I am using driver broadcom 5.100.249.2, don't know where I found it.

I was having the same problem I took the wireless card out of the notebook and started searching google and finally I found the correct driver.. Here is the link for anyone thats still having this problem http://wikidrivers.com/wiki/Broadcom_BCM43xx_win6x
