Sony vaio motion eye and camera?

I had windows 7 installed and now my camera and web cam don't work, I was told they aren't supported

What's your model? Original OS? If Vista then I recommend that you use an upgrade path (Vista to W7) to be able to use the camera. Clean install will not help unless you stay with the same OS version.
