Apple IPhone Flash?

Looks promising. Does it have to be "Adobe Flash CS5". What about older flex?

What does it mean for web browsing/ads? Not that anybody wants them but some companies do exist because of and require banner ads to operate *coughnbfcough cough.

I doubt that Apple is letting Adobe in this easy. In its current form Flash would kill itself under iOS or OS X.

Mr Jobs just got smart - why blocking Adobe out? why not let it put up some toys and let mac users see how bad flash performs in an Apple environment. On the other hand if Adobe starts working on fine tuning its tools set under Apple environment then us consumers might have a win-win situation.

cheers ...

it has to be CS5 because they're still not actually allowing Flash itself. the CS5 Flex Builder can cross-compile into other languages, which is what would have to happen in order to run on the iPhone.

previously Apple didn't allow cross-compiling, now they do. thats all.
