Oops... or is it?

So I got a Blu-ray drive from Dell. Took my comp apart and installed it.

Now when I put a Disc in though, it only takes it half way. I have to like almost force it in to take in all the way...

I am not sure if I didn't align it properly which seems to be the only logical explination... ideas?

not sure if it is just a difference in the drive mechanism your seeing there or not.

yeah, I used a disk half inserted and pressed down the middle till I heared a faint 'click' like it went into place. I think I overtightened it when I was installing it >.< . Works fine and no loose parts when I shook the computer so all good.
