Hello this is my first post here.
I have a Toshiba Laptop L355-S7905 that is stuck on the POST screen and will not boot up. I had to do a hard/forced shutdown and now it will not make it past the POST. The F2,F8,F12,Esc,DEL will not work.
I have switched the ram sticks, I have done holding the power button to release the charge, i have taken out the cmos battery and put it back in, I have tried the bootable flash bios on cd and flashdrive (but Im not sure I made them right, I've never made a bootable cd or flash drive) and still have the same problem.
It is a Tri-boot system with Win 7, Ubuntu 10.04 and Fedora 12. I have used all the cds and still nothing. There have been no hardware changes in the last 5 months. I was running Ubuntu when I had to do the forced shutdown. I have taken out the HD and placed into another system and the HD is fine.
Is there something I have not tried?
