Is it true?

That there has never ( at This point ) ever been a confirmed Virus or malware etc etc infecting a Apple computer?

At an Apple class the other day, the instructor told me this & said if I was to get any of these in my Lap Top that Apple would really love to get a hold of my computer to see how it may of happened.....

No, that is not true. It's all about the operating system. What is true is that the vast majority of malware is aimed at Windows, since that's what most people use. Comparatively few viruses are made for OSX since they have a much smaller area of effect than viruses aimed at Windows, and since malware for OSX has to be written and executed differently. However, there are viruses and malware that have been written for OSX and it's a good idea to have some kind of security software no matter what operating system you're using.

Also, if you use Windows on your Apple product via Boot Camp, it will be just as vulnerable as any other computer running Windows.

edit: and you don't have to take my word for it. Check out these articles:

Djembe is primarily correct. One semantic note, is that there hasn't to my knowledge been a true 'virus' but rather primarily trojans and other forms of malware for OS X. This is likely the point of confusion for your instructor.

That being said, as Dj said, it depends on the OS and no OS is completely immune to viruses, it is likely to happen sometime or later. Just at this time there doesn't seem to be a true confirmed virus. There are however Trojans and other forms of malware.

I'll have to point this out to them tomorrow at my class.
