Greetings All,
I am looking to upgrade my Dell Precision M90 with a new 802.11n wireless card.
I currently have a Full Height Dell 1490 card that is a 2 antenna card, but the laptop thankfully has the third antenna connector in it. As I am looking to do this right, I want to replace this with the best available 802.11n card I can get so I will not have to upgrade soon later.
Some basic research seems to indicate that the Half-Height Intel Pro Wireless 6300 is a very good card, though I would need to get an adapter to get it to fit in the full height slot and sit correctly. If there is a better option, especially one that is perhaps full height to begin with, I would love to hear. Any and all personal experiences, thoughts, and best guesses welcome.
Thanks a bunch.
