Quick question regarding Acer Aspire 5920G and Extensa 5420-5038

My Aspire just gave up the ghost, can I take the nVidia card out and stick it into my secondary laptop, my Extensa 5420-5038?


I tried switching the HDDs already to no avail. I did not see a slot to stick my card, but it might be elsewhere. (My card is just sitting next me with no where to go, help it find a new home!)

NVidia card, obviously talking about an external PCMCIA or is it a USB type card...what model is it...
What operating system on old laptop, what OS on new....

Well, if it was USB I doubt I'd be asking this question.


The card is an nVidia 9800GT.


Same OS on both systems Vista home premium 32-bit.


Also, there's nothing external about it, it was next to my HDD in my Aspire. Since my Aspire is no longer usable I took the card out in hopes of putting it in the Extensa. The HDD on my Aspire will not work on the Extensa, which saddens me.
