Brand new computer with no factory seal

I just bought another computer, but this one did not have the factory seal sticker on the box. The person in the store said that it was brand new, they just get ones in sometimes without the seal. Is that true, or did I get a used computer? Everything about it looks like it was never touched. The cardboard was not bent, like when a box is opened, and everything was still in perfect, untouched condition. Plus it has a build date of Sep 2010, so I don't think that it was used. I just want to know if they do get boxes in the stores without stickers on them. Thanks to whoever answers.

It depends a bit on if you're getting a pre-built model or one that was customized in the shop or by a reseller. I would expect all pre-built models to come with a factory seal, but customized models would not necessarily have the same thing.
