Hi guys!
I just wanted to know if my laptop is OK?
Here are the specs:

Compaq Presario C500
Intel Core Duo T2250 @ 1.73GHz, 533MHz FSB, 2MB L2 Cache
2.5GB DDR2 SO-DIMM @ 800MHz and 533MHz
2.5" 100GB 2400RPM SATA HDD
Intel GMA 950 @ 400MHz, 256MB (shared) Integrated Graphics with Power Saving Technology designed to save battery life
15.6" LCD Screen
3 Cell Battery (I know, bad battery-Lasts only 1 hour)
DVD-Burner w/ Super-Multi
Windows 7 Ultimate OEM
No Webcam
3 Years old

Although I do play games on this laptop such as Counter-Strike Source, Cross Fire, Warrock and Combat Arms. They all work at 60FPS+ but I just wanted to know if this laptop is good for school or home entertainment. Though it's lack of battery life will reduce the price but I am upgrading it. I am not selling this laptop but I just wanted to know if this laptop is OK?

Also, the fan runs at around 20-40 degrees Celsius when on browser or normal use and cooler. 50-75 degrees Celsius when playing one of each of the games listed on cooler. Regularly it runs at 60 degrees Celsius with cooler when playing games.

2 things I would possibly upgrade to get a slight improvement in any performance, 1) RAM, get some more DDR2-800 and 2) get a 7200rpm hard drive.... But, if it does exactly waht you require, save your pennies for a future laptop....

True. Maybe I will but those DDR2-800 sticks rarely come for under $50. They're pretty expensive. I live in Toronto ON, Canada and I shop for computer equipment usually at Fortune Computers, Tech Source, Tech Direct, Factory Direct or Tiger Direct. Those are the stores I usually shop at for computer equipment. However, the hard drive part I don't think I'll have a problem because I can maybe just buy it off someone at www.toronto.kijiji.ca.
