Trying to download Sata driver to Toshiba Satellite A200-20E laptop?

Trying to download Sata driver to Toshiba Satellite A200-20E laptop? This is to package a Win XP installation CD with nLite

BUT I CANNOT find the harddrive SATA driver for this laptop Thoshiba Satellite A200-20E. I have been searching the Toshiba sites for hours ... don't get it ... is it that hard to get a proper driver for a harddrive ?!?!

Anyone who can google to get the link for these drivers I would be very happy ...

You'd need an Intel Storage Driver - go to Intel and get the one that fits your chipseset.

Now it works like a charm ...BUT why doesn't this support answer exist inside the Toshiba notebooks support site online??? It really pussels me

I must say that Toshiba is not the best laptop on the market when it comes to support and maintain it ... such a bad support website I haven't seen since before the millenium Sorry to say but I do this to Toshiba and will never by one again

Beat me Maybe installing OS is not part of notebook support. Glad it worked out for you.

Well, Support Site can be short in information now and then, and that is for every manufacturer that I know of That's why we have sites like NBF here for backup

We own and use many many Toshiba in the family and are happy with their performance.
