Sound issues...

I've been looking around and haven't found any info regarding a sound problem with my 5680. When I plug my headphones in, I get static out of my laptop speakers and sometimes I can still barely hear the song or game I'm playing. Does anyone have any suggestions to remedy this problem?

Brutal you're in the wrong section of the boards. No one will answer your question in this section.

Also you don't get ATI 9800's in laptops......yet.

Go into sound properties (both input and output) and carefully turn off the various sources one by one.
