Dell M6300

I got a used Dell M6300. It powers up but no video, no post the optical drive ran as well as the HD. Is this a sign of a bad video card, LCD or system board.

Not quite understand what you meant by "duration", but if "temp" = running temp then usually between 45-100C (extreme case) for GPUs. Though I would start panic at 80-90C range

It all depends on what you are doing and running apps. At idle it should hover about 50-ish. But it should be able to run at 80C for long period of time with the fan kicking in as needed. I would not have the notebook with that temp on my laps for long period of time

as far as baking the card search the Dell forums, there are several threads about it.

And there are several different GPU options, there is a sticky here as well for it

Thanks guys, I baked it for 8 min at 385 F and left it to cool for 40 min then installed it(wala it worked! it worked! guys

Just shows you the cards need a better cooling design with all these heat releated issues

Yes, even though it carries two heat pipes and two fans.
