NP5680 Sound Problem

I've been looking around and haven't found any info regarding a sound problem with my 5680. When I plug my headphones in, I get static out of my laptop speakers and sometimes I can still barely hear the song or game I'm playing. Does anyone have any suggestions to remedy this problem?
Thanks in advance!

Does this happen with different headphones as well? Try swithcing off other input/output devices in volume control. Make sure you have set the speaker setup in the advanced sound menu to 5.1 surround sound.

Well when I plug in my AC adapter I get static out of my speakers. Probably a messed up ground somewhere on the motherboard requiring an RMA to fix it

I get the same thing. I use my laptop for djaying and my speakers pick this static up easily. And you are right, it only happens when the AC Adapter is plugged in. Has anyone found a way to rectify this problem? Ive been living with it for a bit but now im getting frustrated, spending over 2k on a laptop and having a crap problem like this is unacceptable. Other than that its pretty good.
