Bluetooth Mouse not working in Star Craft 2 - Please Help

Hello folks,

I have an Acer Aspire 8943 Laptop and I recently had problems with my Logitech MX900 BT mouse. At first the BT connection would spontaneously disconnect, but that problem has since been fixed. The only problem I'm having now is when playing Star Craft 2. The mouse lags real bad, to the point where it is unplayable. I've tried reinstalling the drivers but that didn't help. Interestingly enough, when I use a Microsoft BT Dongle, it works. This only happens when I use the internal BT module. If there's anyone who can help I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

grecinos

Check for newer drivers for the internal BT dongle, don't use the ACER website as the drivers will be old... There is sometimes compatibility issues between old an newer BT stuff...

Thanks for the response. Yea, I checked for other drivers. It's been a couple of weeks, but I think I tried the drivers directly from Broadcom. It didn't seem to help.

Maybe there is an issue with the Logitech mouse itself.

I'm wanting to agree. I have another BT Logitech mouse and that one seems to work perfectly. It's real weird, when I put my laptop on my desk and connect my USB, HDMI and Ethernet, the mouse works fine in SC2. It's only when I put the laptop on a small table (and go wireless) next to my bed that I start having problems.

Interference somewhere .. Interesting.

Or it could be that wireless is pulling the resource away from the BT connection. I would want to review the WiFi configuration, using Windows Wireless Management per example and not relying on Acer built-in WiFi utilities.

cheers ...
