I have seen this laptop in the low $600 at Officemax.....It has an AMD Quad Core CPU and dedicated graphics memory.....

Anybody have experienced/tested this laptop or care to comment based on the specs.....

Specs mentioned a switchable AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5470 GPU. Not bad with that low price.

It should do well with normal day to day tasks and some gaming.

Read that the AMD Quad Core Phenom 920 performance is not that impresive....more like a Dual Core mid to entry level..

It's a good buy at that price! Overall, hp's notebook with some added software will take your system to a different level. The beats sound setup needs enhancements for the full effect. On the internet, you can fine what you need for that task. I know! Because I have one. Playing high-end games like, Crysis2 and Fear3, are a breeze for this notebook by hp. The system uses two card for software,that's the 4250 and the 5470 one for games. It switches back for it's needs. It is a great notebook, overall!
