Which battery for Aspire 8735G please

Hi I'm really hoping someone can help me. I have an Acer Aspire 8735G which does not have a battery and I am really struggling to find out which battery I need for it. I have tracked down ref no LC.BTP00.007 but I'm not sure that it's the correct one. Also is it a good idea to buy a compatible one or an actual Acer one ?

Sounds good to me with that referencing part number for the 8-cells battery replacement.

Looks exactly like the 8730G I am servicing here, battery part no. is AS07B32 which is a Sanyo Lithium Ion Battery rated at 14.8v DC 4800mAh...

Thanks very much for replies - I'm finding it really hard to actually find my notebook on the lists for replacement batteries so knowing that it's the same as a 8730G is great. Angela

Use Ebay, you can get one for about $40US.....
