Just wanted to get your thoughts on this and see if it is good for Viewing HD content (1080p when available) / video editing / web design.

It has the following specs:

--Intel Core i7 - 640 M (2.80 GHz)

--4GB DDR3 memory

--500 GB hard disk

--Dedicated 512MB gDDR3 VRAM video memory

--14" screen, 1600 x 900 res

--Win 7 Pro 64

--NVIDIA Quadro FX 380M graphics card

...I have an HP Envy 14 (Beats Edition) that I can trade in and get this for about $300.

Your thoughts?? Thank you in advance.

As I recall, that model is one of a couple that you can configure with HP's super high end screen that's supposed to look fantastic.

Interesting, thanks. I'll take a look. At this point though I'm fairly certain I'll have to live with the specs I described. (I'm not getting this through HP directly.)

Thanks again for your reply.
