Im having some kind of troubles with this laptop, ill try to install some driver and whenever I start my laptop, I see this next error message ACPI ATK100 kernel mode driver, what does this mean and what can I do to solve it?, by the way is it normal to get just 25-30 fps on games like BFC2, starcraft 2, I think this laptop could run a little bit better, im using directx11, what can I do to increase 5-10 fps (I do really think i can increase it), thanks in advance for the answers you guys can give me

Do you have restore point before this issue occurred? What drivers were you installing? Try removing them?

I will try restoring, or im gonna format my laptop it doesnt have anything but 3 games installed, and as for the fps on gameplay what do you recommend me for increasing it

It really only runs those games at only 25-30 FPS? :S that's weird, I saw the G71GX run GTA 4 at like 25-30 FPS too, but I'd expect those games to run better I suppose, I might be getting this laptop, so yeah. But I'd say reinstall the drivers, like qhn said. Also run a registry cleaner and virus scan with CCleaner and Malwarebytes, just incase the problems have to do with a registry error or trojan possibly.

Could you message me also to tell me what you think about this laptop?
Hope this helped

Games patches up to date would also help.

I fixed the error message, and I can increase my fps on BFC2(25-50) and starcraft2(35-45 ultra graphics) by just updating my video driver, but now Im having a new problem!!! everytime I run a game it crashes saying X (X is the name of the program) has stop working, windows is trying to gather more information about this.

what am i doing wrong here? I think its a missing driver or something like that, because Ive just install the video and audio driver

Is this happening to every game? Try re-installing the game(s) and see.

this laptop came from the hell!!, I didnt do anything, but to restart my laptop, when out of the blue windows starts upgrading and after that games were running normal, by the way whats the normal temperature this laptop can handle on cpu and gpu, I wanna OC with the asus program

Smart notebook don't you think?

From many reads about this model CPU can fluctuate between 35C-55C and GPU 45C-85C with no performance drops.

If you want to play with OC, make sure that the environment is clean and use a notebook cooler if you have one.

Back up your personal data and give it a clean re-install, that's what I would do.
