From Telltale games, the makers of Monkey Island and Sam and Max, we're going to get a series of games based on Back to the Future. They're going to go on an episodic format with 5 episodes, the first being released this month, and the next ones being released in February, March, April, and the finale's month hasnt been announced yet. Heres the trailer, and Discuss!

Even in the cartoony world, I'm loving the attention to the little details from the movies.

Beat episode 1. Entertaining little game, very short though. But thats the point of episodic gaming. You can really see Telltale's experience with Sam & Max come through in this game. Looks like its going to be "follow the story no roaming" but there are multiple ways to solve the same puzzles. I'm hoping the next episodes will be longer.

I just played Episode 1 this past weekend. It's clear from the little details in the game that Telltale did a lot of research on the BttF series. They included things such as the huge blown amp from the intro of the first movie, a reference to Strickland (Marty's school supervisor), to even the annoying cliches that appeared in the movie series.

The first episode was a bit short though, as the challenges were fairly easy; went through it in about two hours. I'm looking forward to the next several episodes.

Part 2 is out now. It looks like I get it free for buying episode 1, so it is $24.99 for all 6 games. I'll be downloading it later today and give it a play through
