I was hoping to not have to tear both apart to find out. The casing and motherboard end are most likely different looking at ebay pics, thus I would like to swap just the panel and inverter together and reuse the laptop wiring harness.
I'm doubting that either will work. Dell has a nasty habit of using different physical Connections between laptops. The C6x0 series alone had TWO different physical connections for the panel possible. The inverter will most definitely not work.
We have worked on both models. The LCDs from the C610 and C640 can be used in the D600 and D610 (in most cases). You may need to update the video driver to make sure the system is able to utilize the LCDs best resolution.
