HP DV6 3106eg or 3150sg

I want to get a new Computer and im tied between these 2 :

Specs: 3106eg

Original Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
Intel® Core™ i3-370M Prozessor
• 2,4 GHz, 3 MB Level-3-Cache
4 GB DDR3 (1 x 4096 MB)
ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5470 Grafikkarte (umschaltbar), bis zu 2202 MB Grafikspeicher insgesamt, 512 MB DDR3 dediziert

Plz tell me which one is better from the specs and if they are good for GAMING

3150sg with HD 5650 is much better for gaming.

And is it also better considering the other specs?

ive also heard that AMD is worse than i3..... is this true?

The one of the 3150sg laptop ;D

is the i3 better or that one?

Just with the number alone 2.8GHz is better than 2.4GHz - but CPU spec alone cannot determine how well a system would run.

If you are talking about the notebook itself, AMD/ATI combination is much better than Intel/ATI.

And as Zipperi mentioned above the GPU in the 3150sg is better

I guess il be getting the 3150 sg ;D

But if there are any other laptops you would recomend that are in the same price range then plz feel free to post them ^^

Pretty tough to recommend unless you tell us what are the choices, locally. For €800 that is a pretty good notebook from HP, and the DV6 series is very solid.

Check MSI GX640 availability and price - with 5850 it's still clearly better for gaming.

Thx for mentioning it but it costs around 1000€!

I got the 3150sg for 740 yesterday! Pretty good deal !

Well i was aloud to choose the laptop but im not actually getting it till christmas

I will though as soon as ive had a fewdays with it
