Media Direct Button

Thread Starter
I'm putting a new hard drive in an Inspiron 9400 and installing Windows XP from scratch.

Is it true that if I push the Media Direct button it will make the PC un-bootable?

I have never experienced that problem.
And I have used various bootloaders,standard windows,grub.grub2,chameleon.
Only differences was BIOS logo.

There are a mod for this to start other OS with media button, search on Google for "dell-mediadirect-xosl-bootloader-hardware-dual-boot-made-easy"
