According to CNET, Intel will be releasing the quad-core mobile Sandy Bridge CPUs at CES on January 5th and will then wait until February to release dual-core variants. This move was done, according to an unnamed source, in order to give OEMs time to sell off their remaining models with older tech that they were promoting in the holiday season.
