8887, right end hinge popped open. Repairable?

The right-side hinge of the screen (at the far end, where the joint between front and back side of the screen is visible) just popped open on me. It's not broken, just merely "uncoupled", the remaining of the casing is still tightly sealed. However, no amount of pressure will clench the hinge back together, so what shall I do? Is it advisable to glue it together using strong glue, or not? (prolly not). I'd hate to do an RMA just for this...

Any help welcome

if you pop off the rubber bumpers on all four corners you can unscrew and pop off the outer plastic casing all around the screen
this will expose the hinges and where they attach to the screen. the right one may have become loose or even come off all the way.

just a thought. i couldnt really tell without looking at it.

If it is still under warranty I would contact Sager or who you bought it from to see if opening up the LCD casing will void it. Because if you can't fix it then you void the warranty andyou have to pay to get it fixed.
