Iliked the old Dell M90 that I've bought 2 in the last year ... one as a desktop replacement (with docking station) and one as my main laptop. I know the M90 is becoming dated but it really is a great (big) laptop/desktop replacement. I use it for ever purpose under the sun while my wife uses our docked machine for AutoCad work.
I was wondering/hoping that someone could provide links within NBF and other sites for info on maintaining/upgrading/hacking the M90? I just replaced the keyboard on one unit which, with the help of eBay (keyboard) and Dell (instructions) was quite easy ... but was wondering if there is anythin I can do to increase the life and hack the M90 ... like I did my old Inspiron 9300.
Also, both units have either a Quadro FX1500 or FX2500. I recently installed an application that reported my driver as being out-of-date. I went to the Nvidia website but they do not seem to be supporting these mobile cards any longer. I tend to remember a set of hacked drivers for the 6800 of my old I9300. Can I do anything about this to keep my systems relevant?
Thanks ...
