HDMI to LCD TV

I plan to purchase a laptop and connect it via HDMI to my Sony lcd tv... http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/...specifications

The primary duties will include general internet browsing, online bill pay and occaisional gaming if the set-up permits. With my limited experience of laptops I have settled on these two:

Have I made decent choices here? Are there any glaring concerns with either of the two? I am still open to any suggestions. Thanks!

Both systems have good specs and good price range. Your call on screen and GPU brand preference. I would look into extended warranty as a deal breaker as well.
