I've achieved fairly impressive (in my book at least
) 9136 score in 3DMark06, of course not running stock clocks. My Core was clocked @ 585 and Memory @ 948 via MSI Afterburner software. My max. temps hovered around 72 degrees which is fairly cool considering some 90 degree reports around the net. So far, I am very happy with this lappy. I switched from another ASUS (N81
), and can't be happier...except bluetooth
, still don't get it why Asus left it out on this model

), and also recently upgraded my CPU to Intel Core i7-640m hoping to get over ten thousand in 3DMark06.
... At the end I hit 9446 which is exactly 310 points above the old config with i5-450m. GPU has been also OC'd @ same values as discussed in post one. Below are some screenshots of benchmark screen itself and also MSI Afterburner OC setup.
if I tell you that the i7-640m is still strong performer i.e. my HD video editing got cut down at least 2 hours compared to i5-450m
