Hello felllow guys & gals

lately, I just tried to install some Linux distribution on my Area-51 M5500 R3, but after some settings session and mostly breaking up installation I cannot get into my user/root account
!
Because my Linux dont want to load up in the best case (if installation itself is not breaking up)
!
My Linux DVD is from SuSe, MBR protection is disabled in BIOS; there are 2 GB of RAM there and my HDD is 100GB big.
On the other side, all the Windows OS discs just run perfectly, as well as my good old Win98
.
Please help
