m17 tv-tuner

i can clearly see the coaxial input at the back of my m17 and i have installed the drivers as well but for some reason windows media center cant detect the tv-tuner card.... any thoughts on that guys???

Un-install and re-install the tuner device?

i dont see it under device manager...

Then it could be that device was not present, disconnected from the board controllers.

can it be taken off leaving the coaxial connection behind?

Possible, if the connection to the board is loose or damaged.
