Acer Aspire One Case

Hey all,

I am looking for a case for my netbook. Similar to an otterbox type case.

Spec's:
Tough and flexible
Easy on and off
Does not need a screen protector
Able to be dropped or handled roughly with good protection.

This will be demoed on my Acer in an ambulance for our setup. We will be mounting netbooks/laptops in our ambulances so we can do our reports in the trucks with our online reporting system. As well as get info from our CAD system and dispatch.

All I seem to be able to find is soft sleeves and cosmetic type cases. Any help would be much appreciated.

Wow, dont know where a cover will supply that sort of protection...netbooks are pretty delicate...I noticed our ambulance drivers around here use Panosonic toughbooks with armored cases..I understand the US army used similar notebooks....those can be dropped etc..I doubt if an Acer Netbook will take that abuse with a protected cover or not

My netbook has taken the abuse so far for the last two years. Some minor damage like chipped paint and missing the feet. Otherwise it has been pretty stoic. The company likes the idea of a comp in the ambulance but wants protection.

They are less thrilled about paying 2k per toughbook. The ones we used in the USMC were pretty rugged but we still messed them up. A 250 dollar netbook with a case is easier to swallow when replacing than a 2k toughbook.

No, its new to me, but it is the sort of thing I would look for with vehicle mounted laptops...
No laptop though is completely shock proof, esp ones with standard hard drives, plus the screen of course...
