New NP8170 and old 5720 5793

I should get a new NP8170 on saturday. I have an old 5720 where the graphics went FUBAR, and a 5793 which overheated and now cant boot up (mobo or gpu or both?). I was wondering if i could save something for the spare parts, maybe battery, or perhaps the screen. I already took out the hdd from the 5793 because i had to backup the data.

I wanted to ship them back to the US and try to sell them on ebay for spare parts. The damn 5720 had a $700 or more worth of processor, i'm never buying something high-end like that. Any advice on this, like, chuck them in the garbage, keep this and that, try selling them... is welcome.

Take them apart and sell them - you would make more money, but it would take time. I am not sure if you can use the old screens with the new model, but they are worth a few $$$.
