Recovery CD

Thread Starter
Does anyone know where I can lay my hands on a recovery disc for Acer Aspire 5920G running Vista 32bit home premium?

Managed to wipe everything somehow and only have my disc from a dell desktop thats vista basic, and obviously doesnt contain any drivers for wifi adapter buttons or acer applications.

Any help much appreciated, absolute computer novice. If it had wheels and an engine i would be ok!

Gparted-live-cd has testdisk, you can possibly recover.

Using test disk can recover your partition data if you haven't reformatted.
And if you still have Pqservice you can do a full recovery from there.

We have a sticky about accessing PQService and this.

It's a bit tricky.

This 1 includes testdisk, gparted will let you know what partitions are still there.

Look at Post# 20

After getting partitions reloaded you should back it up just in case.
