I'm stuck between these two, I want one that runs anything I will throw at it. The one thing that I like about the ASUS is that it's also 3D and has a Blu-Ray player, but I'm not sure if the Alienware outperforms the ASUS. Can you please help a noob out?

I have this memory installed in my Inspiron 14R. 6gb (one 2gb & one 4gb). Great performance! I highly recommend Kingston.

Asus-
Processor: Intel Core i7 Mobile Quad Processors 1.73GHz
Main memory: 6 GB DDR3/1333MHz system memory
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M with 1.5GB DDR5 VRAM- DX11
Hard Drive: 750GB 7200 RPM
Wireless: 802.11a/g/n WiFi card
Alienware-
Processor: Intel Core i7 Mobile Quad Processors 1.73GHz
Main memory: 4GB Dual Channel Memory (2x 2GB DDR3)
Video card: 1024 MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870
Hard Drive: 320GB 7200 RPM
Wireless: 1520 802.11n Half Mini- Card
the Asus has built in 3D and Blu-Ray, and it also has a bit better specs than the alienware, but I still want to know which one has the best performance, specially for gaming. I was leaning towards the Alienware because I've always heard that it's better for gaming.
