So I guess its my fault..? However I wanna know if their is anything I can do to make it work again.

I haven't turned on my system for about five or so months now and it hadn't been on the charger. I decided to hook it up to the charger today and the darn thing will not charge. The orange light on the dash area to indicate that its charging isn't even coming on. The power brick has the green indicator light on however the system itself won't even turn on.

So any help? Do I just have to get a new battery?

My recommendation is to take the battery out and clean the contacts.

Also, with the battery out and the AC adapter unplugged press the power button for 10 seconds, this clears some leftover power on the computer's capacitors and resets it to a default factory state.

After this, put everything back together and let us know if it works.

Nope. When I hit the power button the battery light flashes orange for like a sec before it goes away again.

Would leaving the battery out, using only power adapter, work?

cheers ...

Yes - literally either the GPU itself or the whole motherboard.

Search NBF for bake / baking - we are a bunch of crazy bakers here, with great success.

cheers ...

I would remove the memory chips, then try inserting them one at a time and testing
