8890 USB2 Drivers?

HI,
I have bought an external USB2 enclosure and a Pioneer DVR-107D to go in it.
I have used Nero(latest version) and it fails with SCSI command aborted.
Now I was told I need to have USB2 drivers so does anyone know where I can get them for the 8890?
Thanks

What OS are you using? WinXP already has USB2 support built in. If you did your own XP install, did you install the chipset drivers?

I installed XP SP1 and installed all the correct drivers in the correct order including the chipset.

Hmmm.. it sounds like you should be good to go. You definitely have USB2 support then, so that probably isn't the issue. Is there another comp you can try it out on?

It says that after you installl XP sp 1/1a. To go to device manager and right click on the "USB controller", select uninstall, reboot and it will install usb2. You can check this in Sisoft Sandra for the version

Still no luck. I have verified that the mass storage device is running on USB2.0 via SiSoft Sandra.

It might be that some of the usb ports are 1.0 and the others are 2.0. I found that with my usb stick, I can copy to/from it faster with the top ones(I think) than the bottom ones. I might have the order flipped, though.
