Just ordered my M17 R3

well since I'm not into gaming quite as much but I still love the alienware laptop, I thought I'd give the R3 a try. Here's my build:

Congrats, nice specs.

You may want to upgrade the warranty to 3 years

I been holding off to see if they are giong to offer the 485M GPU

I don't know if we'll see the 485. Mainly because the 6970 is out and we haven't heard anything from dell about the 485 coming out anytime soon. Plus I'd imagine that it would be a Premium but I suppose it would be good to go along with the 3d. However Nvidia has sourly disappointed me on this system due to the lack of Optimus actually working when the system is setup for 3d. If you pick a 3d setup at purchase you apparently lose out on your ability to use Optimus.
