Inspiron 6400 and Studio 1537 ... mix them togheter ?

Greetings !

I got both computers, the 1537 is not working, screen is not working, I have changed the display inverter because I saw some short on the board, but LCD won't come up ... the rest looks to be working but I can't even plug in an external LCD, nothing is being displayed.

The Inspiron 6400 is working fine but getting old.

Can I use the 6400 display and use the 1537 mobo and internals ?

if you cant get the external monitor or the LCD display to work then most likely the video card is your problem
