is it possible to connect a CCTV Camera???

Thread Starter
using my Sager 8790, the built-in Graphics Card is the ATI Mobility Radeon 9700.

on the rear of the 8790 is a round PS/2 Mouse type connector which I have a connecting cable as supplied with the 8790 from new. this connector plugs into this round PS/2 Mouse type port and has 3 Phono type connections.

I have an external CCTV Camera which connects to a Female Type Phono plug.

How do I setup the ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 to view images/live stream from the CCTV Camera?

... thanks in advance,
Leslie

I'm not sure that is possible. That is a very old laptop/video card. What OS are you running?

On those ATI cards, it is video out, to run the laptop out to a TV... To run video in, you need the laptop equivalent of a TV card that allows capture.. Like this ....

The 8790's had a (optional)built in tuner, but if I recall it was coax.

Yes, you are correct, it was the 'yellow' video in port...
